Question for Texas Aggies

I was browsing the Greek Life section at www.tamu.edu for an idea of which Greeks do what on campus. I noticed that some of them are listed as "Restricted", occasionally w/ some notes/details along with it. I couldn't find a glossary or anything that explained what that means from an A&M POV. Can anyone give me a hint?

PM or Email is OK if this isn't for public consumption.

Thanx!

Hey-I'm not an Aggie, and I don't really know anything about their site, but I can tell you DZ does an annual 5k run that raised about $18k for philanthropy called "Run to the Chicken." Here's a link:

Can you provide me a link to the sites that say restricted-I am not sure what you mean? Sorry I could not be of much help at this time

AXO has an annual paint war
XO has songfest
Theta has 5K run
KKG use to have Kappa Klassic-a golf tournement -I am not sure if they still do this
ADPi has playday
not sure about others

The Run to the Chicken is a 5K that DZ puts on that is a race that ends a popular bar called the Chicken.

AXO does a paintball party where money paid for entrance fees goes to Phoebe's Home.

DG puts on Anchor Splash, which raises money for their philanthropy.

KD does an event with the local Girl Scout tribes.

I think KKG does events with Boys and Girls Clubs

Thanx for the updates. I understand The Chicken a little bit better now. ;-) It's an Aggie thing, and I'm really starting to appreciate the culture up there.

It's my fault for not clarifying the question. Under the Greek listings at tamu.edu, the basic contact information about each GLO lists whether each *group* is "Restricted" or "Recognized". This is what I didn't understand the meaning of.

Anyone? Bueller? ;)
