Assaulted Nuts

Yea, I thought that would get your attention, lol! ;) :D

That is the name of the Life with Bonnie episode airing January 14th on ABC (9 pm eastern time)and yes, it is about a crazed squirrel (whattt??? ;) :p

"While Mark is away at a medical conference, Bonnie, Gloria and the kids are surprised by an unexpected visitor to the Molloy home; and on Morning Chicago, Bonnie finds herself live on air with a speechless guest and an angry juggler. "

I briefly saw the promo commercial but it looked cute.

I know that the ABC shows are rerun later in the week on another channel. I think I saw the Bonnie show Saturday night so if you don't catch Tuesday's episode, try this weekend.

Lynn

How about some crazy squirrel commercials....

Sounds funny! I know of a few commercials I like w/ squirrels in them.

There's the old Geico commercial where the one squirrel runs out in the road and is almost hit by a car...he then goes over to his squirrel buddy and they're celebrating how the car crashed! LOL

Or there's the one for Trigger Happy TV where a man in a squirrel suit pulls a guy out of a phone booth and beats him senseless! Squirrels kick ass!

Although I don't generally watch Life With Bonnie, I may have to tune in for this episode.

Your title alone made this thread worth reading! ;)

I saw a really cute commercial last night for--I think--Snickers with Almonds. A little old lady was feeding almonds to some squirrels in the park, and then you saw a man on the ground with the squirrels begging for the nuts! It made me laugh, but then again I love any commercial with a squirrel in it! :)

Also, don't know if anyone's seen billboards for the movie "Just Married," but Brittany Murphy is carrying a bouquet of red and buff roses in it. I have no intentions of going to see the movie, but the bouquet makes me smile everytime I drive by it.

Remeber the old commercials for Grape Nuts (at least, I think it was Grape Nuts) where there was always a squirrel or two doing some crazy stunt to get the cereal?

Speaking of squirrel sightings, sisters. Here is another one: There is a resteraunt just outside of my hometown (Huntsville, AL) called "The Squirrel's Nest Resteraunt" in Grant, AL. I have'nt eaten there, but my parents have. My mom said it was kind of like a country cooking type place. Blue plate specials, such as a meat and three vegtables.
My other squirrel sighting was recently at a department store in the mall. There was a Liz Claibourne squirrel pin. Lisa

HA!

One more squirrel sighting on TV tonight. Do you all know Target's new campaign, "Prices so low, you don't have to hold back"? They aired a commercial tonight with a Boy Scout troop buying loads of cheese puffs. Cut to the troop in the woods, leaving a cheese puff trail to find their way back home. Next thing you hear is a "crunch, crunch, crunch." The last boy scout turns around, and wouldn't you know it???? A squirrel has been following them and eating the cheese puffs!!! :D

That totally cracked me up.

It appears that you can't go wrong with squirrels in your commercials!!! Did anyone see the Trident Super Bowl ad? It said "four out of five dentists recommend Trident gum...but what happened to the fifth dentist?" Then it shows a squirrel coming in the window and running up the guy's leg and biting him in the...ahrm...nuts. hehe!!! :D

Cute ad

in the Atlanta paper yesterday.

It is a squirrel with sunglasses and a glass of milk (?). The caption is

"Got gutters? No problem!"

Sweetie hubby saved it for me!

:D
