Ohio University Greeks???
 

Hey!! My best friend is attending Ohio University next year and she was wondering about the greek life there. She visits the campus this week and the advisor ask her if she wanted to visit some of the houses. She said yes, so hopefully she'll have a good idea of greek life there.

But does anyone attend OU? Or know anything about their greek life? My Katie girl needs some good advice! Thanks guys and gals!!

I don't know much about their Greek Life in general, but a friend of mine attended OU and said that if she would have pledged, it would have been Phi Mu. She said they are a terrific bunch of girls!! Plus, I think there are some OU Phi Mus that post on GC, so they'll be able to give you some more info. :)

A girl in my chapter is a transfer from OU, but I haven't heard her talking about the Greek system there much. I can ask her about it if you'd like.

Well, I haven't attended "Harvard on the Hocking" in a long time, but from the outside, the Greek System seems to be doing pretty well.

There are over thirty national GLO chapters (36 rings a bell, but I'm not sure about that)

This year or last, The Princeton Review named Ohio as one of the top ten Greek schools in the country. I would take that with a real grain of salt, though, since the Princeton Review used pretty shaky survey methods -- and, as I've said before, has nothing to do with Princeton University.

You might try checking with OULioness to get her input. There are some other O.U. folks on GC also, but my feeble brain won't come up with them at the moment.

Good luck to your friend. I'll bet she loves O.U. and Athens.

This is kinda off-topic cuz I don't know anything about the Greeks at OU, but my aunt is the head of the Nursing Department there. :D
