San Francisco Greek Shops

I will be in San Francisco later this month and was wondering where the good Greek novelty/gift shops were. Can anyone help?

My Soror, Marina Cervantes, owns a greek store in Berkeley right near the UC campus. Her store serves CAL, UC Davis, Sac State, SF State and pretty much the bay area. The name of the shop is Greek House. It's on Durante street and the cross is Telegraph. There's rumor she may be moving the store. I'm going over there today to find out and I'll let you know. :D

MARINA IS GREAT !!!! such a nice girl !!! I too have heard the rumor that the greek house is moving...actually they were going to close.. but now I heard they are moving... but if you call their number they can tell you where they are...
also.. not as close to San Fran.. but San Jose has a big greek section in Robert's book store... also what Org. are you in because each have certain orgs that they keep things in stock for, like I know that the San Jose store doesnt' keep Kappa stuff in stock, and Greek house in Berkely wouldn't have any Delta Zeta stuff... so what org. you belong to might determine if you want to make the drive to San Jose...both stores have paddles and plaques and frames and all that great wood stuff and do letters and all that good stuff and can order anything you want as well... =) If you need directions to either store PM me :D

does she cater to locals as well? I am in the bay for a lil while longer... i may stop by if the prices are right.

The store in Berkely and the one in San Jose both have stuff for locals, you may not be able to get stuff like the scrunchies and mugs and some of that, but picture frames and letter sweatshirts or jewelry they can order with your letters.
OH MY I feel like such an idiot... for some reason your signature wasn't showing up before... but now I see that you are a Phi Mu... as you are probably aware... there's not many Phi Mu chapters in Cali..(infact.. as far as I know only 1) so the greek shops probably won't carry stuff... but they can always order if you see something.. both stores are really nice about that !

Well, The Greek House has moved but no new address yet. I'll post it as soon as I hear. So I would say plan on going to the San Jose store, Roberts Bookstore.
