Hello Ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho and Friends,

I am reasearching Virgina State University and was just wandering overall if anyone knew how the school rates..just in general, is it a respectable university? If it matters my major is Early Education and I will be pursuing my masters and Ph.D there...

Please, help a sista out!

Hello girl and congrats. on your quest to increase the knowledge and your paycheck:D ! I believe that it's a very good school and I know that a lot of my African American high school students attend VSU, VU, Norfolk State University, and Hampton and they enjoy their experiences because many of them come back and tell me how glad they were for attending schools that nurture "us." I know that the school is reasonably priced and I'm a firm believer that a person only gets out what he/she actually puts into it.
