Oh, it was just the cooooooolest. Though I thought they only did alumnae news in summer...

But yeah, the pin article was too cool!

Does anyone know if you can order another pin?

I just got the plain one at initiation (being an alumna initiate I didn't know how involved I'd end up being), and now I want one of the jeweled ones!

ummm if you go on pride online to resources there's an acrobat reader file thingy with a badge order form... it *may* be under chapter forms? i think... i should know from being nmc before but it's slipping my mind now... it's in there somewhere! what badge would you get? someday i'm gonna get a white gold badge with aquamarines... someday ;)

Executive Office has a number of discontinued badges they will sell to alum at a discounted cost. Talk to your local alum assoc or contact Executive Office.

Thanks for the info!

I spoke to the TCC at Valpo and she said that I could order a new badge, etc. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait-- our heater's apparently busted. grr. So that's going to be where the money goes right now.

The TCC also said that I could add a badge order onto my local chapter's badge order, so I might do that in the future. But I will email exec and see what else they have to say about "badge upgrading".

It's funny that you said that... I know the sisters book has been out for some time now. I was just looking through the Adelphean, and I realized how much I really, really wanted that book.
And then, yesterday, I got a new job! (yay!) So I decided that with my first check, i will treat myself to the Sisters book. :)

During a recent discussion with one of my favorite ADPi buddies, we started talking about how the Alpha Delta Pi pin is available in so many different ways, unlike so many of the other sororities. It got us to thinking, just as the pins that we each wear are different, and yet the same; so is the sisterhood. We each come from our own background, bringing our own talents to the wonderful mix of Alpha Delta Pi, and blending into a symphony of sisterhood.

We were both truly in awe of the wisdom behind allowing so many personalized pins! Wouldn't it be really cool if there was a poster from EO with even 20 or 30 different pins on it, showing our unity in diversity?

Just a thought...
honeychile

PS - are we lucky or what? :D
