Question: Do you tell a person. . .?

Sorhors and Friends of Sigma,

This evening while working out at the gym; yes, I'm still striving to keep myself in shape, there was this person waiting to use the equipment after me, however, she had something hanging from her nose so I politely told her that she might want to blow her nose. Well, there was a third person using another piece of equipment and she gave me a very dirty look for tell this poor soul that she needed to take care of this problem. I believe that a person should know that they have something that doesn't belong on their face. What would you do if you were in that situation? Sorhors and Friends of Sigma, I keep it real. If I feel that you need to excuse yourself to take care of personal matters then I will always try to tell you in a polite way. Seriously, do you tell or do you ignore it?

Oh boy!

Ok you are on a roll with these funny threads..ok ok..Im putting on my serious face...To answer the question, it really depends on if Im in the mood..usually I do tell, whether its a "hey you have something on your face" or a gesture to wipe something off..Let's put it this way, if it is right in my face, staring at me, yes i do say something..But, if the person is far away or fastly walking by, I just hope that eventually someone would let that person know!

Yes, I would tell. I would want to know. You never know when you will run in to 'The One'.

Sorhors and Friends of Sigma,

My point exactly and do you know that the lady who gave me the dirty looks had the nerve to just stare at me in the 4:30 p.m. step class today. Folks it's like baseball game and she is getting ready to strike out! I'm getting ready to have a one-on-one conversation with her. I don't know why she took it so personal! It's not like she had something hanging from her nose.

You did the right thing! I am laughing at you right now cause I can just imagine you saying it. I do it all the time because I would appreciate it if someone would tell me that I needed to clean my nose.

Sorhor Bluereign,

I always try to keep it real and like you I check everything! My nose, eyes for sleepiness, and my mouth. I always keep kleenex, a small bottle of mouthwash, and a small bottle of vaseline to keep the morning out of my eyes. Girl, I hope to see you at Mid-Winters:cool: !

Soror Serious, I will be there. Wouldn't miss it for the world! BTW, I heard that you missed me. I know I've got to slow down and make time for my cyberfriends. ;)

Sorhor Bluereign,

So true, so true, and I hope to see you very soon. Hey, what do you think about that "No Child Left Behind" crap! G.W. Bush has really lost his mind.

It's all about how you tell someone they've got a "boogie". Discretion in key!

What? I always tell people what could help them, especially my friends. If you need to wipe your nose, freshen your breath, or cover that "leak" on the back of your pants, I'll let you know in a private, tactful way. It's all in presentation.

BOOGIE!!!!!

lololol I ain't said that one in years!

If it were me, I'd want to know. No need to "broadcast" it so that others can hear, but just a simple whisper "You might need a kleenex!" would be helpful to me.
