Let's highlight some of the highs and lows of the show so far...

Positive - Evan seems pretty cool and it'll be fun to watch him work the lie

Negative - the host, Alex. She sucks.

Positive - The butler's fun to watch.

Negative - The women are catty.

Positive - The women are hot.

I tried to watch, but I finally gave up. I just felt EMBARRASSED for those women because I kept thinking how stupid they're going to look when they find out that Evan's not what he's made out to be.

Alex used to be on Trading Spaces, but she's gone weirdo on her latest hosting job. I'm trying to figure out what she's doing with her hair.

negative - The woman I didn't like (Heidi) made it to the next round. I don't think she'll make it happily through the next round, though, so hopefully she will be gone soon.

positive - Evan doesn't seem comfortable living the lie, which makes him seem normal in all of the freakiness that surrounds him. I mean, come on, he even showed he couldn't mount a horse, let alone ride one.

negative - I have to agree that the women of the show are once again showing the derogatory stereotype of women being catty. I'd like to see just one of them say they would like to get to know Evan more, rather than just making comments and asking questions about his money.

Just my opinions of course :)

Did anyone else see how she stole like 3 dresses @ once to get the best one?? Zora almost didn't get anything!!!!
Kind of ironic that she wound up being the belle of the ball in her beautiful blue dress.......

Positive-Evan is picking girls that aren't stereotypically gorgeous, unlike the Bachelor

Negative- it's practically the same damn show as most of the others, won't get good until the second to last week, you know?? Plus, I think it would be funny if like, a bunch of guys were competing for one girl, and at the end they find out SHE's a HE....that would be priceless :D

I hated Heidi, too! And that Mojo chick made me want to throw something at the TV. Sooo glad that Mary didn't get the necklace-wtf was with the sunglasses? Evan did seem cool, very down to earth. Right now I'm rooting for Zora.

*So embarassed to admit in a public forum that I watched this. And even more embarassed to admit that I'll be on the couch ready to yell at the TV next Monday.*

Evan reminds me of the construction worker neighbor in Office Space...I can just hear him saying "i gotta wake my ass up at 6 am all next week, yeah, i'm hangin' the drywall down at the new McDonalds..."

Evan kinda reminded me of Puddy from Seinfeld, just a little too slow for his own good ;) still love him though

Hahaha I was watching that movie tonight right before I watched this show and I *totally* agree!!! Evan is kinda hot though, the guy in Office Space wasn't. As for the show....I felt like I was watching the Bachelor all over again, instead this time they got cheesy pearl necklaces instead of pretty red roses, the host was twice as annoying, and the people weren't nearly as good looking as Aaron and his little harem of women were. Any rate, I'll still probably be watching this next week, b/c I am addicted to cheesy shows like this. Hehe. :D

I know!!! I didn't like that girl either. I really think Zora's dress was so cute and she definately ended up being the belle of the ball!!!

I agree... most of the time when he was explaining why he chose the ladies he did, he used descriptive words like "down to earth" and "friendly" which I thought was really cool.

I think somehow the guy will figure out Heidi's personality and drop her quicker than a hot potato.

I think he'll figure Heidi out next week. From what I saw in the previews from next week, they'll be doing hard labor work. Did you see her face when she was talking about shoveling horse crap? It was hilarious!

The show kind of cracked me up. The majority of those women are going to feel stupid about half the shit they said when the show is over.

this show is pure trash..and i loved every minute of it :)

heidi - what a BIOTCH. shes sitting there saying how its not about the dress you wear, its how you carry yourself blah blah blah, yet who was the one who snagged 2 dresses, so one girl didn't have one at all so that she didn't get stuck with an ugly dress. whatever.

i really like dana(the tall blonde) shes adorable.. she seems genuinely sweet

i'm glad mary(the girl with the sunglasses) didn't get a necklace..she was a freak..

i don't know her name, but one of the girls who didn't get a necklace, she had like blondish wavy/curly hair..was wearing a cute black dress, i liked her..it made me sad she didn't get the necklace and that stupid heidi and mojo did..

evan is gorgeous, but kinda dumb..i don't know, its pretty obvious hes a terrible liar..but he needs to be prepared w/some better answers..

and just a thought ..so what if the guy isn't really worth $50 million..yeah, thats the premise of the show..but you gotta figure hes making a nice chunk of change from fox for doing the show, plus i heard he has had a modeling contract since 1999..you know that after the show his modeling career will take off..plus whatever other apperances he makes..he'll be getting paid a good amount of $$ as a result of this.. so what if its not $50 million, it will certainly be a hell of a lot more then the $19K they are promoting..

I don't know, a pearl necklace is worth a lot more than a rose! Personally I don't think it's all that cheesy!

I can add my name to the list of Heidi-haters. Did anyone notice how pissed off she looked when she wasn't one of the first 3 or 4 women called? :rolleyes: She's lucky he picked her at all!
