met an a phi... lots of them!
 

funny story i just wanted to share with you guys...

so i'm in the airport and it's a southwest flight, so everyone is standing around waiting for them to start the open seating, and of course the flight is delayed. so i start talking to this girl, and we get on the subject of sororities, and she mentioned that she was an alpha phi. well i guess someone in line behind her heard her and was like, "oh my god, I'M an alpha phi too!"... and THEN someone ELSE in line spoke up and it turned out that she too is an alpha phi! i mean... what are the chances? anyway, they were all so very nice and they totally brightened my trip (and one even saved me a seat when those jerks at southwest pulled me out of line to search me :mad: )

just thought i'd share - you guys have lots of amazing sisters out there!

Oh my gosh, that is totally awesome!! I remember reading on GC about someone who met someone who was in their sorority as they waited in line for a ride at Disney World. That's what being Greek is all about. We're everywhere. :p

I met an Alpha Phi at that airport too. She went to UNH but lived in RI. It was a few years ago, so I don't remember her name. But she was really nice!

Now I live about 2 minutes from the airport. I should invite everyone with long layovers over! :)
