Founders' Day

Happy Founders' Day - 106 years!

Stella George Stern Perry, wrote in 1936, “We wanted a fraternity that should carry on the delightful fellowships and cooperation of college days into the workaday years ahead and to do so magnanimously. Above all, we wanted a high and active special purpose to justify existence and a simple devotion to some worthy end.”

Thank you Stella, Helen, Bess, and Jessie!

I want to wish a wonderful Founder's Day to all the great sisters I have met through Greek Chat. I know that this has been used to death by just about everyone, but it's definitely true:

Friends by chance, Sisters by choice!

To our Beloved Alpha Omicron Pi, many more years of the WONDERFUL sisterhood we share. To Stella, Bess, Jess, and Helen, my undying, heartfelt gratitude for giving us this wondeful gift!

Alpha love and Panda kisses! :)

Happy Founders Day to you, AOIIs! I am so glad to have found this site and had a chance to get to know all of you a little better. I think this site is a great example of the benefits of our sisterhood especially over the long term. I have been an AOII for more than half of my life and have thoroughly enjoyed reading the stories of those of you who are collegiates, alum initiates, and old-timers ;) like me. AOIIsilver, your husband is definitely a keeper!

Roses to all of you,

rubyrose

Happy belated Founders Day everyone! I spent it on the road with my family but am looking forward to heading back to Kentucky to celebrate with our sisters there in a few weeks.

AOIIsilver, you've got one heck of a husband there. A true IIOA indeed!

Roses,
Christin
