Decorating your room

Hey sisters!

I'm just wondering how you decorate your rooms. If you live in the house is there a color scheme to the room? Or in your Apts how do you have them?

For me, i switch off and on. But the Colors are ALWAYS THE SAME! dark blue, light blue, yellow, and silver!( they are my fave colors!! Right now i feel like a sorority geek! I have a gingham comforter that is blue and the shames are yllow gingham. I have I have one Wall that is all sorority stuff. Then, I have photos i have taken aand Paintings I have done on the other walls. It's Cute! I want to do an indian theme room one day. With Lots of Pillows. And Draped Material and Lots of Color. But i don't see that happening until I get out of school and have the money to buy the stuff.

I decorated my bathroom in sorority colors. I had dark blue shower curtain with silver hooks. Then, I bought a sunflower chain and thread it through the silver hooks leaving some hanging down on the ends. I have sunflowers outlining our mirror now. All of the towels that hang were blue. Then I have yellow towels rolled up and set behind the toilet. I have a blue and a yellow beaded candle holder filled with popourri. Then, in front of the sink. . .(behind the spout area). . .I have sunflowers again.

Does any house/apt good...decoration wise.

Caged parakeets are also good for decoration. But they can get loud as h*ll in the morning and when hungry. They also eat and sh*t too much. :mad:

My room right now is a mess! But once I get it cleaned up (like this week...) it'll be all good.

My room is white, with a light blue trim. My doors are blue and my window sills are too. I have one wall with wallpaper (I have an issue with a room floor to ceiling with wallpaper!) that is kinda this flower design. But it's mostly blue-to match the paint.

I have a wall unit, which is like a really big desk with shelves and cabinets. On one of my shelves I have my precious moments and other collectibles. Then I have a shelf with my high school stuff like my dipolma and grad cap, and other cute things in red and white (school colors). And of course I have a shelf with my Phi Sig stuff. I have my Initiation Certificate, some Phi Sig candles, a picture frame, and my Initiation rose. I have on my desk, which I plan on hanging REAL soon, is my paddle from my lil. (Ya'll have to see it, it's fabulous!!!) So yeah, I'm gonna hang that right next to my stereo, so I can see it whenever I walk into my room.

Um, what else?

My bathroom use to be decked out with frogs. (I love frogs...) But it's not so much anymore, I have only a few things left up. It's actually pretty plain. I'm thinking that I'm gonna paint it yellow, and put either a yellow or blue shower curtain, and yellow and blue towels and wash cloths. Do like a Phi Sig bathroom. (I like the idea about stringing the sunflowers through the shower rods!!!) Think I might have to "borrow" that idea! ;)

Yeah, so that's about it.
