Thanks, everyone.. just seeing that beautiful monogram makes my eyes tear up with joy. I can't wait until I know more about Alpha Phi and the rituals and secrets that make her so special to all Phis everywhere.

I'm attending an Alpha Phi alumnae chapter meeting the third Wednedsay in January, and that's when I'll get my official printed bid card. The chapter president is waiting on the collegiate president to send a copy of their calendar for the term, to see when they've scheduled Spring initiations. I should be initiated with the rest of the Spring initiates, barring any major SNAFUs.

I'm not sure if it's an honest to goodness bid card, but my sponsor told me that she wanted to hand me an official, printed card, so I just assumed it was a bid card. Maybe I'm using the wrong terminology - maybe what I really mean is invitation.

I'm new to all this sorority stuff, so forgive me if I get some of the terms mixed up! :)

How cute! Don't worry if you are messing up terminology (which I don't think you are... but I could be wrong as well).

I am very excited to hear that you will be becoming my sister. Congratulations on becoming a member of a wonderful sisterhood.

I will do Spring initiation with one of the nearby chapters.Neither are nearby though,each is an hour away in opposite directions.I don't know an exact date.We were thinking that it would be sometime in March.I will absolutely let you know when I have an exact date.

How cool would it be if we were initiated at the same time, Midwesterngirl? :)
