serial killer in Louisiana?
 

My mom said that she just heard about this- a wife of a convicted felon was on her way to see her husband who is in jail disappeared. She may be the latest victim? Can anyone from the South shed light on this? I can't find anything about it on the news.

Mary Ann Fowler, who is the wife of our former elections commissioner was kidnapped on either Christmas Eve or the night before. She was coming out of Subway when it happened. They are still searching for her at this point. They aren't sure if the serial killer in Baton Rouge is involved but they are involving the Baton Rouge Serial Killer Task Force in her search. I'll see if I can find any news articles and post them.

The story just said that she disappeared from a Subway parking lot on Christmas Eve. Her keys, shoes, purse, and a sandwich from Subway were all found next to her car. It was obviously not a robbery-nothing was stolen. She was on her way to Lake Charles, LA to visit family then to Dallas to visit her husband in a federal prison.
One article I read in our local paper said that her fake fingernails were found all over the area near her car. Apparently she put up a fight. Witnesses also say that they saw a white pickup truck (similar to the one in the other murders) flee the parking lot driving very erratically.

I noticed it too, but I felt bad saying anything...I'm glad someone else pointed it out :), so I don't feel like a total jerk for laughing at something I saw on this thread.

That is really sad/scary about this lady....when I first heard about the Louisiana serial killer I got so freaked out, and I live in Missouri! :eek: I hope this guy gets caught soon!!! Stay safe everyone!!! :D

The Angelos , our magazine, recently printed an article about a Kappa Delta who was killed by a serial killer down south. I only skimmed the article....is there any more cases that they have linked to this guy? Any leads?

Haha I didn't think that was the spelling. That was what was said in the article. I didn't even notice it until someone pointed it out. :o


There are 4 women that have been linked to this guy by DNA. The first was killed about a year ago, the second in May, then another in July, and the last one in November. The only piece of info that has been given is a white pick-up truck seen in the areas around the time the killings occured.

Charlotte Murray Pace is the second known victim of the serial killer, and was a KD at Millsaps college in Jackson, MS. She was killed one week after graduating from LSU with an MBA.

Ol' Barney and Andy down at the Mayberry police station claim they're "tryin' their darndest" to catch the guy. I have very little faith in the Baton Rouge PD, and don't think they'll get this guy, unless its an accident, like the way they caught Son of Sam.

The "convicted felon" was former Commissioner of Elections Jerry Fowler. Not exactly a viscious criminal. He's in jail for taking kickbacks from voting machine manufacturers. He's in the federal detention center in Dallas that has medical facilities.
