My Grandmother just came down for Christmas, and she is a Chi Omega, which is just awesome! Anyway, she brought me all sorts of cute owl jewelry, some new, and some stuff from when she was in college. She brought her pin down too, she has asked me to wear it once I am initiated. I am so excited! It is so special to me that I get to wear my Grandmother's pin! I can't wait until initiation! I am so ready for it to happen! Just thought I would share my happiness :)

Congrats on your upcoming initiation! That's really neat that you get to wear your grandmother's pin. Is she coming to your initiation? You will have a wonderful time. Initiation is very special to all Chi Omegas. I know I was very excited to learn more about the history, traditions, and meanings of our sorority! Have fun!

I don't know if my grandmother is coming to my initiation or not. I really hope that she does, but she lives in Indiana and my school is in Georgia, so I don't know if it will work out. But, it is still so special to me that we will be in the same GLO. I can't wait!

That's a really cute story! I would have loved to have a family member also be in our organization.
