What did you GIVE for Christmas?
I'm very fond of the receiving part of Christmas, but I really do enjoy all the work that is put into giving to others. I haven't seen any other threads on this yet, so forgive me if this is already a discussion topic, but what did you do for others this Christmas?
I did a pretty decent job of not being spoiled this year. :)
Sorry about the pointless list, I'm trying to pretend that I'm too busy to help pack. I plan on throwing away 80% of this stuff anyways. |

My best friend- A silver jewlery box.
My roomie- Ceramic horses, one is like her old horse and one is like her new one. Em- A bank (It's a joke!) Mary- Inspiration stones. My big- Her gift is still in my posession because she snuck out of the house! Mt little- Her gift is also a moving in gift :) Since she will be my wallmate at the house :) And is still in my posession! My mom- Burts Bees Wax products that she just LOVES! Dad- Men in Black II movie. My brother- A lovely Bamboo plant. |

I got my Mom these beautiful sewaters she just loves. She just bought leather pants and was looking for something to go with it, and those two sweaters do! I'm happy she likes them.

Boyfriend: ATI RemoteWonder for his Computer
Mom: Earrings, a headset for her cordless phone, a "home spa" kit for a low maintenence girl (Noxema, clear nail polish, etc. - all stuff she uses), a nightshirt and a pajama set, scarf, and some coasters that absorb moisture. |
DH: wheeled carry on bag, a Columbus Blue Jackets away jersey, certificate to choose a new baseball card display case (I wouldn't dare buy it without knowing which one he wanted for sure first!) and some other smaller goodies.
My mom: Yankee Candle tart burner and bag of scented tarts. DH mom: new address book w/ Cross pen. DH dad: gift cert for podiatrist, apparently medicare doesn't cover routine podiatry visits anymore and he likes having his feet taken care of for him. Kids: they were all spoiled rotten, and I won't bore everyone with a list. Suffice it to say that the biggie this year was the Nintendo GameCube with some games. dad- a starbucks coffemug, a starbucks coffee maker, and starbucks coffee beans (i work at starbucks and he loves coffee)
mom- a computer scanner and 2 gospel cds sister- U2's best of album vol. 1 |
We cut way back on the gift-giving this year.
My husband and I are getting an Xbox and some games for each other. We gave my parents a set of martini glasses and a pair of embroidered curtains. We gave my in-laws a carriage clock and a set of liqueur glasses. That's it... |

I gave my Dad the Star Wars: Episode II dvd that Amazon still hasn't delivered. He got a card and the "it's in the mail" slip from Amazon.
