digital cameras
k so i need some opinions.
I am looking into buying myself a digital camera for christmas. the deals for procrastinators seem too tempting to pass up. But which one to get? hmmm. Right now I am torn between a 2 megapixal and 3 megapixal camera. The 2 mgpx is cheaper obviously BUT I can get a 3 mgpxl for $300 with a free 64 MB card and a free $30 rebate check or something. I can get a 2 mgpxl for about $99 but no memory card. I am a graphic design major so taking quick pics for projects without wasting a whole roll of 35mm film would be awesome. But I mainly want it for putting pics on my website, emailing, saving money developing pics, etc. So what should I buy? :D |

I figured you might want to read some product reviews. -Rudey |
i would highly suggest going to a site like www.pcworld.com and searching through their product reviews.
You also want to pay attention to the features (besides the obvious ones like the megapixels) screen size, user-friendliness, battery life, picture quality and things like that. if you go to www.bestbuy.com and look through their digital cameras, it gives you a lil taste of what is out there. the thing i like about that site is you can compare the features of the different camera models and find one with the features you want and the price you want (don't I sound like a commercial? :P ) |
I'd hold off.. They've recently made some pretty serious strides in digital camera technology. The price of these units is very high still but it will come down probably by next year and replace what we have now. I'm holding out.
