A warning to those who have not already done it, if you don't want to be accused of being racist, ignorant, sexist, bigotted, prejudiced, homophobic etc. don't say ANYTHING that has to do with RACE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, or any other touchy area NO MATTER HOW BENIGN you think it is.

And...I won't say anything any further, or I'll be in danger of having that covetted title that rhymes with CANNED.

Now we know that's a new word. I even use it in real life now.

all i have to say on this subject is that sometimes people change and people are not always what they seem. have a little faith in people. they might suprise you.

Pretty much what it looks like, pre-judging.

This was a vent about people wrongly pegging people as prejudiced, on BOTH sides. Jumping the gun.

How can you talk about prejudice without the above? I guess you have age and sex discrimination.. But what exactly did you want to talk about other than the fact that it's wrong?

I don't see what you want to accomplish by starting another thread on this subject.

No this is a slightly different subject.

Um...yes.

But on GC I'm afraid all we have to go by is what people post. So therefore if someone posts something racist/prejudiced/sexist/WHATEVER then we can only see them as that kind of person. I am in real life exactly how I am on GC (and I know there are people on here who do not like me). So therefore you won't see me saying DON'T SAY THAT, BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW ME. If I don't want to give off a false impression, I will be careful with my words. See how that works?

Exactly. But that is also part of the problem, what some people define as racist/sexist/etc. is ludacris and reputations suffer.
