New AOII!
:D Hurray! I'm a new AOII and I just wanted to find someone to talk to. I'm so excited to be in the best sorority and I now hold two positions, historian and activities chair! If anyone has any advice for me about my positions, let me know.

Hi kiqualey12--congrats on your new offices and being a part of our fantastic sisterhood :)
My advice on your offices are to utilize all resources available (advisers, manuals, previous officers); stay active and involved and encourage your sisters to do the same; do your best and HAVE FUN!!! Roses, Christin |

If you have any questions about historian I'm more than happy to help out - especially archiving. I have a grad degree in Historic Preservation as well as having worked on AOII's International archives. :) Roses! Sarah |
kiqualey12,
Welcome and congratulations on your new positions!! This site can be a great resource for you. The AOIIs on the board have broad and diverse experiences within the sorority. Good luck with everything! ruyrose |
Congratulations on joining our sisterhood, it will bring you joy and friends for years to come. My advice is to contact other AOII chapters are nearby and speak with their Activities Chair and Historians to get some new ideas as well. It's not that your outgoing officers don't have good ideas, it's just that other chapters can help to give you new perspectives on your position.
Best of luck to you! Suzanne |
