Snoring!

Anybody have any tips for how to deal with snoring???

The guy i'm seeing is wonderful in just about everyway- but he snores REALLY loudly. And I take awhile to fall asleep to begin with, so this doesn't help matters at all.

I'm not sure that earplugs would even work.... might try them though if I can find where I put mine.

Thanks!:)

I do not know if they work, I've seen it on a comerical. It is called Breathe Right Strips. You put them on the bridge of ur nose (or a little below that) and its suppost to open up the nasal passages so you won''t snore. They are prolly at your local drug store. Hope that helps.

Breathe right strips are amazing!!!

My husband snores like you wouldn't belive. Only when he lies on one side though...which happens to NOT be the side he lays on to cuddle with me. So whenever he falls asleep cuddling me...I hear LOUD snoring in my ear! I got sick of waking him up and getting him to roll over....so we got the strips...and they worked their magic! No more snoring!:D:D

Yaaay!

How do you know you snore?

My dad used to have a really bad snoring problem and he used breathe right strips which helped some . . . If you ask a doctor they will usually say the frequent, loud, snoring is symptomatic of another health concern. Sometimes the problem is sinus problems and in my dad's case it turned out to be sleep apnea (so now he has a machine that shoots air up his nose and he doesn't snore anymore). Not to mention that snoring like that is hell on your throat (I snore when I get bronchitis and it makes it sooooo much worse). If the snoring is that bad and every night perhaps you could nicely mention that he might want to get it checked out just to make sure it's not a symptom of something else?

I do too snore. ;) Let the magic begin. So the strips thingy do work, eh? Maybe I should get some before people in the cold air start complaining about my snoring :D

Hmm... I'll have to see if I can find those strips. My husband snores unbelievably... he wakes me up :(

The only time that my husband snores is after he has been drinking. Usually my elbow in his side shuts him up for a while!
