all i want for christmas is...
 

although it is more blessed to give than to recieve, i think it goes without saying that having your wish list and LOTS of wishful thinking never hurt anybody... that being said,
all i want for christmas is:

the safety of all our outstanding men and women of the armed forces and that each and every one of them makes it home to the people that love them,

(in the words of stevie wonder) we will see a day when men stop playing with bombs like kids play with toys,

a world where people are free not only in mind, but in spirit and mind,

LUTHER VANDROSS, ANITA BAKER, and CARL THOMAS all come out with new material for fans like me

rent $ on january first!

for a sexy little somebody to come along and sweep me off my feet so i can look back at all the love woes in the past and say, "LORD, i finally get it-- all the heartache was for this pot of gold at the end of my rainbow!"

if i can't get that sexy little somebody, that maybe my ex will get his mind right 'cause i still got love for the old boy!

to know my grandma is smiling down on us as we celbrate our first christmas without her,

If Santa Claus really loves me then he will put the winning numbers to the lottery in my stocking, and leave a brand new 2002 lexus in my driveway(automatic please!):)....and oh yeah while he is at it he can stop by here and pay off my student loans...of course I wouldn't mind if I opened up all my late Birthday cards and found 100 dollar bills in them all......but that is all I want.....nothing major......just a lil somethin somethin:D ;)

Sorhors and Friends of Sigma,

I will start with the emotional and social stuff first because my list is a little long:

I wish the three Abrahamic religions (I talking about all of the devout followers); Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, could get their acts together and really show the love that their sacred books reveal.

I wish that George W. would figure out a way to get our economy working. That's another strong reason to be a democrat!!

I hope and pray that the homeless get food, clothing, shelter, and get back on their feet if they so desire it.

I wish that some of my students would get a clue and start doing their homework and come into my classroom with a better attitude so that I don't have to straighten them out before I can continue on with the lesson.

I wish and hope that India Arie really wins a grammy for all of her hard work.

I also hope that Jill Scott comes out with something new!

I pray that Whitney and Bobbie get some help for their drug problems!

I hope and pray that Mariah doesn't crack-up if her album doesn't do well.

I really wish and hope that I can relax for the holiday season because this school year is dragging on and on! Like the break of dawn! You don't stop!

I would like to receive a really good murder mystery book and of course, a brown or blue leather coach bag for the holidays.

I wish that Mr. Marshall will get his act together and give me something special for Christmas. I still love you man!

I wish and hope that my family, sorority family, and friends stay safe, warm, and enjoy the time with their family members.

Can I get a decent gpa this semester...will my labor produce good fruit?

Can I get a car without transmission problems (Im not picky another used car will do)

Can I join the get out of debt for life club

Can I gain motivation to love myself enough to set goals towards physical fitness

Can I learn how to be assertive and not aggressive

Can I be disciplined enough to grow more in Christ...then maybe I won't be so selfish *lol*

I want 2 leather Gucci Blake line bags (black and tan), a black Gucci wallet to match, a full length mahogany mink coat, a white Volvo C70, a new better paying, more challenging job, zero debt and a mini food processor.

I also just want to be able to wake up on X-Mas day and be with my family, to hear of peaceful acts around the world ALL DAY (at least for the day people!) , and to be able to pray to God in thanks for the many blessings that have been bestowed upon me for even when I struggle, God blesses me and helps me to overcome.

I just want something really, really, really good to happen. Nothing specific. I have been through a little rough period these past few months. I just want to be able to tell about something good.

OK, here's my real list....

1) a new wardrobe cause I'm tired of my students dressing better than I do

2) a luxury car (my minivan is fine. I just want something special for myself)

3) a bigger house

4) another boyfriend

5) some real cash to bring in the new year

I sure could go for a Coach poodle set (keychain, wristlet and purse) and a nice little crystal poodle, a gold Cadillac SRX, a royal blue fox jacket (to match my gold leather skirt) and...

but I could settle for a day or two with my family and friends :)
