Did anyone know that Nomar Garciaparra (One of the best shortstops ever) was dating Mia Hamm (probably the best female soccer player of all time)? I just read that they are engaged. Guess if you don't live in Boston you don't here these things.

Last I had heard, Mia Hamm was married to a Marine Corps officer she went to college with. Maybe she's been hanging out with JLo?

I knew about it but then again I live in Boston. I hadn't heard about the engagement though.

I knew she and the Marine had divorced, but hadn't heard anything about her and Nomar. I live close to Boston, but don't follow sports all that much. Best of luck to both of them.
