Penn State IFC suspends Delta Tau Delta for alleged role in thefts
 

I always cringe when I see any chapter suspension -- it's especially hard when it's one of ours.

You have to assume (or hope) that there is more to the investigation than what was mentioned in the story -- otherwise the entire chapter is being punished for the (very serious) acts of the few expelled former members.

It sounds kind of like double jeopardy for the chapter -- given the original settlement and the length of time between the investigations and actions -- but that has happened to others before, and will undoubtedly happen again.
