Mu North Province Meeting
Epsilon Kappa chapter will be hosting the Mu North Province Meeting in February 2003. I hope some of the Mu North Province GCers will be there! It would be fun to meet some of you.
I hope the house will be underway by then. We've been ready to go, but USC did not forward some paperwork that was necessary to begin closing procedures. I think everything is clear now. We are all very excited! If you ever get a chance to go to a province meeting or national convention, GO! They are so-o-o-o-o much fun--seeing all those Kappas from all over, knowing the same things about KKG that I know, is awesome!!! My pride in being a Kappa has been strengthened every time I've been. |
Upsilon Chapter is hosting the Epsilon Province meeting this February. I really want to go. I loved the Convention experience, and I'd love to get to know other sisters in the area in a smaller setting. I agree, if you ever get the chance to go to Convention or Province, don't pass it up. After the last Convention, I realized that this is going to be habit-forming. :D

As soon as I get my registration info in the mail, I'll be signed up to attend the Mu Province Meeting. I can go to only a little bit, but it's better than nothing!

Province Meeting was terrific! I can't go to today's activities, but the rest of the meeting was a great success. I met some of the Eta Eta members and an advisor that attended. Of course, I bought some things from the Blue Owl Boutique!!!
Basically, I came for the fun stuff--shopping and eating! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new sisters and visiting with ones I already knew. There were four sisters from my chapter there (Delta Rho is in Xi Province; however, one sister is a Regional Officer, one is a GC, and one lives in Columbia and was Province Meeting Chairman. I'm House Advisor, so my only official duties were as hostess and "gofer.") A few sisters wanted to see the house site, so we took two vans (my new one included!) down to USC and showed them the Greek Village and our lot. We also showed them where the chapter is housed now. Our guest speaker was a professor from USC--he talked about stress. Very interesting and entertaining. Our brainstorming sessions were fun, too. We talked about philanthropy and came up with some wonderful ideas. |
