Kappa Program
 

Unfortionatly, our Kappa program could use some work. Those of you who know me from this site know that I have a lot of fraternity knowledge in my head but that isnt' true of most members of my chapter. We just had elections and I did not win, but I still want to help our new kappa educate our AMs as well as our brothers. I am asking all of you to help me get in contact with the kappa's at your chapter to get some of the information as well as ideas that your chapters use. Any help you can give would be appreciated...

Yo big guy! I know what you mean! As the NAM have full rights, it is hard to figure out how to have the new AM' learn Knlodge and Lore without calling it hazing!

I and some of the other Alums have discussed having them learn about the International and Local inspite of International.

I for one know along with many others know that we have lost the imetitus for what carries on the meanng of LXA at both levels!

By the way Jono is comig to LX Z FD! I will close the Store if necessary to be there! Wish you could make it as you are near to y heart for comign to BN FD! Shame you could not stay and hear my talk!

actaully myself and another one of the guys were going to propose some amendments or whatever you want to call them and basically overhaul the new member education program that will hopefully make it to the 2004 genreal assembly to be voted on by the fraternity. I love our fraternity, but we are too strict with rules regarding new members, i think some of whats in place actually hurts educating rather than help, seems like their too worried about something being considered hazing.

Since I advise Betas @ 2 chapters, I'm not up to speed on what the problems are w/the Kappa office. Is it the manual? What are the gripes w/IHQ? Please elaborate...thanks.
