Mistress forced to pay wife
What do you all think about this?
(I did a search and could not find anything on this so here it is...) http://abcnews.go.com/sections/GMA/G...ressMoney.html |
First of all, the heifer gets what she deserves for trying to lay claims to the estate of the man who was having an affair with her. She should have known that his family wasn't going to just hand over things that were rightfully theirs. Especially when it wasn't willed to her or anything like that. That lady is BEYOND stupid, LOL..

This is interesting...I have mixed feelings...I'm upset that she/mistress would even have THE AUDACITY to ask for money from the wife...saying he promised it to her before he died  ...That right there makes me think she DESERVES to be sued...she should have kept her mouth shut and had a little respect for his wife...On the flip side I don't think it's right for her to have to pay back everything he gave her...I think that's his fault and the wife should of sued him, if she knew about it, when he was alive...It's too late to be sueing anybody now that he's dead...But yeah I don't think its fair for the mistress to have to pay back anything she wasn't the one in the marriage, even though she was wrong for being in a relationship with him she wasn't wrong for accepting the $$$ he was wrong for giving it to her...And that's my little take on it :p

I think that people should be held more culpable for their behavior and people who cheat are on the top of my list of people who deserve what they get. I don't buy the arguement that "it is not my fault I was his mistress, he was the one who was married." Nobody cheats alone. It does take two to tango and the mistress is as guilty as the spouse. I could not respect any one who would cheat enough to be involved with them. If he didn't want his wife, he needed to get a divorce. I have no sympathy for her. She opened her big mouth and put herself in the line of fire.
In other state, they have laws on the books that allow one to sue the mistress for interfering with the marital relationship. I bet if heiffers started getting hit in the pocketbook for messing around with another woman's husband they might think twice about it. |
If I was the wife I would take everything. She doesn't feel guilty and she doesn't feel she did anything wrong. Maybe that's just me the wife talking. I wonder what the laws in Texas are maybe I could get my child support from my husbands girlfriend what do you all think. Somebody in Texas give a sister the lowdown on the law in Texas!

Being a married woman, I'm speaking for ALL of the married women out there...
HA!!! HA!!! HA!!!! GOODIE, GOODIE, GOODIE!!!!! :D :D In all honesty, I just can't grudge up any SYMPATHY for this woman. She started this mess and now that man's wife is FINISHING it. It's like this women was actually FLAUNTING her relationship with that married man. See, if she hadn't STARTED nothing, there wouldn't have BEEN nothing. Yeah, she opened a NASTY can of worms for herself. She should have had something on PAPER. Like Cedric the Entertainer would have told her, she shouldn't have went all up in there all willy-nilly like that. And the really FUNNY, yet SAD part about this is that he probably DID promise her that stuff. But guess what? HE AIN'T TALKING!!! :D :D I bet she won't do that mess to anyone else. |
Why in the HELLo :p was she "content" to be the other woman for 20 years????
|
What got me is that he was married for 30 years and had the affair for 20 years. So for 2/3 of his marriage he had his cake and ate it too! Surely the wife had to know something.
But I agree with all of you. If the mistress hadn't opened her mouth she wouldn't be in this situation. On the other hand, it's a shame that the MAN got away with this with no retribution. |
