I don't agree at all with that statement. It depends totally on who you are, what you are dealing with and the entire situation.

I agree with you, my answer was what I think without going into detail. theres always more than what meets the eye, but I have noticed that things, as well as people can easily leave you, just as they came.

That's definitely true when it comes to money.
