I found out when I was 10 that if you walk in on your parents when they're wrapping your presents, it really does spoil the surprise on Christmas Day. There's nothing to look forward to!

That even though I'm drugging through years and years of college for that "higher education"...I'll ultimately end up a) in a field unrelated to my degree (so everyone says) or b) back in school.
So sad :(

That if I get into Med School, I won't have a well paying job until I'm 30.
*sigh*

That people are not as they initially seem (especially when they're desparate to find roomates) and that law school is not like college. The fun factor goes from 10 to 0 :(

That a lot of things seem way better until you actually get them.

That the world is a lot sh*tier than I could ever imagine, with regards to global issues....enviroment, world hunger, and civil and religious wars. The world seemed a lot smaller when I was younger.....

Yes, there are several things, but not really anything I should post on here.

Learning that the person in the cube next to you makes 37,000.00 a year and when she quits and someone else is hired to do the same job is only making around 27,000.00. (This is a job you could be trained for in a week and Master in 2 months.)

This is even more bothersome when you know that the one making 27 is a recent divorce trying to scrape up the money to pay for her 13 year old child to stay in the same private school he has always attended so that he won't have another adjustment this year.
