Fundraising -Health Committee(TEST)
 

I am the new chair person of the health committee for my sorority and I need some Ideas for fundraising for this committee.
Actually, I need any ideas that you guys can give me.

This is also a test message - I will clarify things in another message.

Okay now that I am now able to post I can try and be more clear about what I need. Being the chair of a committee, I need ideas on what to bring to my chapter- A Graduate Chapter.

April is HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH, and maybe I am posting in the wrong place, because I am no longer looking for fundraising ideas I instead need 'THINGS TO DO'. I know this is very GENERAL. But instead of fundraising, which we can't do because this is a cotillion year I need to present health 'things' (ie issues) to chapter and I need to do this in a fun but informative kind of way. I am looking for ideas on where I can solicit information on Health and then if anyone knows of events going on in Long Island NEW YORK (like a walk-a-thon) then I can also present that info and make a motion that chapter attend that event.

So to make my long story even longer.....I would like the help of anyone who can help me to get health issues and information across to my chapter. ANY TAKERS? Please reply here and/or to my e-mail account- thanks!

Sponsor a kickball or volleyball tournament with the proceeds going to a charity. Or sponsor a 1 mile walk/5K race with the same objective. Ask local health care agencies or hospitals to set up booths to hand out information. Schedule a BRIEF speaker to talk about the charity before handing out door prizes (donated) and trophies.

I wanted to thank those who have contacted me already. I edited my original post, so that means the criteria has changed and I still need help. Please shout out when you can.

LadyAKA - In case anyone else reading this is wondering what you are talking about -- I just deleted the post you are referring to. The post was from someone spamming the forums advertising some kind of business.
