Darryl Kile was nominated to be on the ballot for the hall of fame along with 16 others. He was exempted because he is not alive. If he gets in I will be dissapointed. He is good but not hall of fame material. It's a sad story about how he died but that shouldn't get him into the hall of fame.

The league should be dissolved and all the players should be thrown in jail for robbing the American people.

Pete Rose should be in there. But alas, I have a better chance of becomming the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Force then him getting in.

It's common practice for a player's wait to be Hall of Fame eligible to be waived when the player dies - it happened for Roberto Clemente.

This doesn't mean the player will get in - most likely Kile will not.

Kile would've been nominated eventually due to the fact that he's thrown a no hitter. But his death was pretty high profile, especially with the morning show DJ thing. So everyone's really touchy feely with the Darryl Kile thing

Kile died of a heart ailment during the summer (July maybe?). He was found dead in his hotel room after he hadn't shown up to a game that day.

hes a good player, but not hall of fame material. how he died and when is a sad story, and i feel for his family, but as far as the hall of fame goes, you shouldve done something to make an impact on the game, something that will always be remembered and something that will change the game forever, he didnt do that.
