With the Holiday shopping craze underway...do you prefer to give or receive holiday gifts?

I don't even gather Christmas lists. I just go out and find the best, most random present for my family memebers that way it's something unique.
Like last year I bought my brother a wooden box that was very nicely carved and decorated. Inside it had two decks of cards. Since he'd gone away to college he'd started playing card games with friends. So, I thought it'd be something neat and fun for him to own. Besides, it was such a nice wooden box I knew he'd keep it for years!

Give. I don't even know what I want for christmas...I'd probably be happy with what I have :D Happy Holidays to all the GC'ers out there

I like to receive from my boyfriend...oh wait..you meant...oops.

Heh..I like to give, it's more fun. Unless its jewlery, then I like to receive..lol

I like giving presents better, because it's fun picking them out and it's even better watching them be opened at Christmas (or, in my boyfriend's case, in the middle of January when he comes back from his visit home)! That's not to say it's not nice to get gifts, though... :)

GIVE GIVE GIVe....although it is nice to get presents sometimes. I can't wait to see the look on my dad's best friend's face when he opens the gift I got him. He was a FIJI at my college and his dog ate his FIJI hat about 10 years ago, so I bought him a new one! He is so rpoud of his organizaiton, and I can't wait to give him the hat so he can show it!
Giving kinda sucks though when people don't like/appreciate your gifts
