Hey guys,

I have a quick question for anyone who wants to lend their expertise. I was just wondering about the sweetheart title...
I know with some GLO's, they have a "once a sweetheart, always a sweetheart" motto. How do things work with you guys? I'm only asking because my parents gave me a Phi Mu Alpha sweetheart necklace for a graduation present and I don't want to get anyone in trouble for wearing it.

Sherika -

The process for selecting a chapter sweetheart can vary from chapter to chapter. The chapter may only have one sweetheart at a time and depending upon the traditions of the chapter, may elect a new sweetheart every year or may not elect a new sweetheart until the current one graduates.
