What are your PRIORITIES
 

Seriously, it seems at the age I am now a days my friends and I are prioritizing what we need and want in our lives. I fast discovered that there is a huge difference between wants and needs... so I realized I needed to really think about what is important to ME. So here is my list:
1. Family
2. Friends/Boyfriend
3. Work
4. Financial stability aka getting my credit good enough to buy a house someday.

I don't think that there is much more for me. Although I am starting to think about my goals for myself. Like I would like to be married in 5 years, but if I don't meet Mr Right I am not forcing myself to do that. I would like two children, preferably by 32 but again I am not pressuring myself.

1.) School (although its so hard to be motivated going into my 18th year of education)

2.) Family/Boyfriend (he and I have been together so long, he IS family)

3.) Friends (although the post-college social life has been more than lacking)

4.) Everything else

My health and happiness are my priorities in addition to many of the things that have been mentioned here.

1). School, although at times it does take a backseat
2.) Beta and my other organizations on campus...because it is what I deal with on a daily basis
3.) Family...but the distance puts it on the back burner most times
4.) Friends, goes along with Beta for the most part, but I'm still intensely loyal to my high school friends
5.) Girls
6.) Parties
7.) Finances

Low priorities include Laundry, eating right and working out:rolleyes: Luckily, I can never gain weight ever...even when I try.

5. Real job (not nearly as fun)
6. Partying

Really I like to think that my #1 priority is really just myself... I guess that's how I rank things at this point in my life as far as the degree of importance to me.. They are subject to change at any time really.

1.) Film
2-a.) Career
2-b.) Fraternity
3-a.) Getting into Film School
3-b.) Recruitment for Theta Chi
4.) Grades, so I can get into film school
5.) my health
6.) Getting Laid (i don't care if girlfriend or not)
7.) I don't have seven priorties.

Priorties for me work like this....If I think its important at the time, I kind of think on feet as I go.

1. Family - husband, parents
2. Friends
3. My "real job"
4. Getting my database administrator certification
5. Finances
6. My "not as real job"

(I work two jobs... both part-time. One is the "real job" that I just landed, a contract job that is in my field :) The other is a low-paying job totally outside my field, that I took a few months ago mainly to get out of the house and into the community, and that I am now committed to :( )

Children - not a priority for me at this point, although I do want to have my first child before I'm 30 (3 years to go... ulp!) then have a second child a couple of years after that. Obviously my priorities will change at that point :)
