Ideas for External Social Events
Basically Im coming up with ideas for external social events with other frats. One idea I have is a scavenger hunt a la hometown, where you get with four other people (2-3 SigKaps and 2-3 frat members) and they get hints to locations around the college area, and who ever gets to the end first wins. If anyone out there has any ideas please lemme know.
Thanks, Iceluvzpod |
I guess it depends on whether you're looking for "wet" or "dry" ideas. I know that my girls had a "highlighter" party for one exchange. Basically, everyone went out and bought men's undershirts and highlighters and then decorated themselves once they got to the party. This was a total blast and asked to be repeated by a lot of girls. For a dry function, you could do a mini olympics between the different teams (of guys and girls). Just some thoughts.

i used to photograph all sorts of parties on my campus so i have a few good ideas from doing that
paint party - get lots of plastic to cover the walls, floor, etc. and lots of paint to play with. basically you all come in wearing junky clothes you don't mind getting paint on and you each get a bottle of paint (the small ones) and go for it. paint your sisters, paint the boys, whatever. it was probably the most fun party i've really been to. be careful with doing a scavenger hunt. find out what the rules are about that. here, and in a lot of places, it's considered hazing. the other parties i've been to are theme parties like sigma nu's viking party, sigma pi's beach party (with a hot tub and sand), sigma chi's jungle party, fiji's dick wonderball (don't ask), du's toga party, cops and robbers, wild wild west, etc. you get the point. most of the parties here are just dress up and drink kind of parties. although, at fiji's dick wonderball they did have one room designated to packing peanuts. one big room filled. it was basically like a the ball pits you played in as a kid. hope the suggestions help. shelley j sigma k |
