Christmas Gift Suggestions...

My family has done a gift exchange where we draw names for the past 10 years or more, and it looks like we're not doing that this year. I have 8 nieces and nephews. Most of them are in their teens and are difficult to shop for. I was told to get something for the younger boys, but not to bother with the others. Christmas is my favorite holiday, and I want to do something special for all of them, but I have no idea for the teens. 2 have not been involved in the gift exchange for a few years because they haven't been able to be home and asked us not to do anything for them. The other 6 will all be there.

So, here's my question... does anyone have a good idea for an 18 year old (male), 2 16 year olds (male), and/ or a 15 year old (female) that will not cost an arm and a leg? The other boys are 8 and 5.

Thanks!:)

For the 8 and 5 year old...there's this new building toy called Imaginext, made by Fisher Price. Check them out, because they're really cute and appeal to a wide range. The castle sets are #1 on my younger guys' lists this year.

As for the teen girl, what about a subscription to a magazine she enjoys? Could any of them use a long distance card? Check Sams Club for decent prices on those. Last suggestion, a gift certificate for a night out at the movies. Hope some of these help and good luck!

for the girl get a couple travel sized smelly lotions. Those always go over well.
For the 18 yearold you should get gift certificates to the movies or something of that sort since he probably goes to see movies with his friends (i would imagine).
For the sixteen yearolds, if they are driving you should get them gas cards. Gas is expensive and they will be grateful.
My brothers are almost 16 and one of them always gets these boxers called uglies from his godmother. they are so funny, and he loves getting them. That might be something to try as well.
I am clueless about the 5-8 range. maybe an inexpensive nerf toy or something?

I'm not sure movie passes would go over well with the 18 year old... he doesn't go out much at all, but those are some great suggestions! Thanks!

Delphi-

For the 5-8 yr. olds, check out the Nick Jr. website. They have pretty inexpensive things you can get them. Or you can check out some of the ideas and tips and perhaps make them something. I do a lot of babysitting and I always use that site for tips and ideas!

Good luck!
