All I can say is I hope that the actions of a few don't end up biting their national organization. This is why we pay huge insurance premiums folks.

If they win, $15million will take a big bite out of any fraternal organization. A few like this could cause the ultimate end of all national fraternities.

I agree. Its a numbers game. Every year X amount of people drink too much and get alcohol poisoning and die. Every year there is a chance that one of those people will be greek.

Generally from similar situations. Birthday Rituals . . . I am trying to remember past 11 pm on mine .. . . The stories they tell me and the ones I remember are different.

Shot wars. Everclear in punch and combinations.

If only people would use beer in these wierd rituals, people wouldn't die. It would be very hard to drink enough beer to kill you. ITs very easy to drink enough hard alcohol.

Maybe that should be a risk management lesson. Look people when out celebrating or playing games keep it to beer.

The one way to keep formals from getting messy is to limit the bar to wine and beer. Either no hard alcohol at all or no shots.

What a waste of human life! Stories like this make me so angry and sad. I wish the college actives would respect the laws against underage drinking and hazing. Hazing can cost a pledge his or her health, safety, and possibly life. It can also cost a GLO millions of dollars and its charter. More incidents like this will cost us all our reputations and some outstanding potential members who do not want to experience this type of treatment. This is a clarion call that can not be ignored. I agree with DeltAlum on this one.
