Rush Already!
 

My girls are so excited about reaching chapter status, and we are already thinking about doing our first recruitment.

We will be going bowling with a bunch of potential new members at the end of the month. We want to have fun, but we also want them to become acquainted with Beta Sigma Phi and what it really means. Any ideas on ways to incorporate Beta Facts with a crazy good time?

On the other hand, we are holding another Get-to-know-Beta event in early December. Should we just let bowling be bowling and save the technical stuff for our "Strawberry Bash"?

First, let me congratulate you and your Delta Pi sisters! When do you have your ritual? I am so excited for you gals!!!!

Second, I say let bowling be bowling/fun/get-to-know-each-other time and have info night during your "Strawberry Bash" (btw, love the name! ;) ) My chapter (Gamma Mu) holds a meeting once a month, and then we also have a social event once a month, where no formal meeting stuff is discussed, we just get together to have a good time. We have social time at the meeting too, but I think that social events should be purely social events.

I LOVE Beta Sigma Phi! :D

Girl, have someone ready to answer any questions that prospective members may have, but other than that just treat it as an ordinary social. Let the girls see that Beta can be business and sisterhood all wrapped up into one. Let me know if you need any of the pledge training stuff. I have TONS!

We are having rush this week!! :)

Im excited... we lost our 7th and gained a new one in one night!!!!

Bowling Night!
 

Four new girls attended our bowling outing last night. We had a great time! Only 8 out of 10 sisters could make it, but I think our rushees got a good impression of our group. Our Strawberry Bash is in less than two weeks. I can't wait!!! :D
