Founder's Great Grand-daughter....
 

Sorry for invading your forum but I thought this was interesting...

I was chatting with out intern at work the other day and somehow we got on the subject of college and Greek Life. Anyway, she was never Greek but it turns out her Great Grandmother was a founder of Delta Sigma Theta! Her great grandmother was Madree Penn White :) Her undergrad school didn't have fraternities or sororities and the grad chapter at Alabama A&M had just had a line cross when she got there and didn't do another one while she was getting her Masters.

Anyway...just thought it was cool :) A shame that she was not able to experience what her relative helped to found, but that's a whole other story...

She can still seek membership in an alumnae chapter.

Oh, I wasn't trying to make assumptions or say anything negative. I'm in an NPC sorority and don't know all of the particulars of NPHC organizations (such as active alumnae chapters for new initiates). My main point was just to say that I thought it was cool that I work w/one of your founder's great grand daughters :)
