Battle of the Party Walks Part 2
 

Last night was the Battle of the Party Walks at College of Charleston (which was hosted by AKA), and the Zeta Tau Alpha/Delta Sigma Theta team WON FIRST PLACE!! :D (BTW, the other teams were Phi Mu-Zeta Phi Beta and Kappa Alpha Theta-Sigma Gamma Rho, then 3 fraternity teams). It was so much fun! The music on one of our songs screwed up, but we pulled it off. And on DJ's choice, we got the hardest song of all, but we looked great! AND, we were the only ones to have team t-shirts made for the event. We said that even if we didn't win, we were the hottest-looking girls out there!;) Go Zeta and Delta!

A party walk is like a dance. You do it in a line. It's a couple of 8-counts long, then you start over, just going around in a circle, at a party of course. This is something that the NPHC orgs do (like stepping), so AKA just decided to make a cute competition out of it and invited IFC fraternities and NPC sororities to participate.

It sounds like CofC has great inter-greek relations! Awesome!

Sorry for butting in on your board ladies, but thats awesome that ZTA got first! :) my honorary has a party walk... although my chapter is so rhytmically challanged that we dont do it much!
