Im sure you have all seen the thread in Greek Life entitled "Phi Sig Porn" Im guessing there was a link at one time... but there isnt now...

This post was started by guardian_angel! who also started the
"Phi Sigma Sigma hates their nationals thread" I dont know WHAT this person has aganst Phi Sigma Sigma, but he/she/it also started another thread about porn from what the one says... grrr... it just makes me *so* mad when people are disrespectful aganst our sorority- what would be worse would be if he/she/it were a she and a sister...

*sigh*

On a better note, I got my email back from c/o about being an volunteer as an alumna! Im interested in two positions... the one I doubt they will let me have... :( (key chapter advisor for Slippery Rock which is only like 45 min away) but theres also the Clarion housing corp...

I completely agree! I've been MIA for a while, and I check to see whats new here last night and i discover all this sh*t about my sorority all over the place! I dont know what has gotten into people, but I am at least very relieved to see that many people have taken our side, both on that horrible porn thread and the thread about upenn.

but man, could have done without all that negative publicity.

but alison, congrats about the volunteer ops - clarion and slippery rock would both be incredibly lucky to have you on their advisory team.

I agree with you about guardian_angel. I wanted to post something on the porn post asking if she has something against Phi Sigs since she did start the other one. I don't want to do that though since I pm'd her to get the link to the supposed site so I can let CO know whats up. I really hope it isn't a Phi Sig but someone claiming to be.

Congratulations about the volunteer positions. I hope you get the one you want but if not you will do great in the other position.

When i saw that stuff last night I emailed the link to Sandy before they took it off. Luckily, its out of the post now and nationals knows about it.

I emailed it to her too. I also PMed a mod asking if the entire thread could be removed.

COuld someone PM me the link? I am just curious....

Edited to say: I just came across the site again while actually searching for it. It is still up as of now. I have not heard anything back yet but hopefully it will be taken down soon!

I just wanted to let you know that I support you guys 110%. Whomever is posting negative things about Phi Sigma Sigma (guardian angel, I think) should be stopped! I am truly sorry for all the bad things that have been posted lately, but try and ignore it. You are an upstanding orgainzation that allows women to experience a true sisterhood! Never forget this!

Wow. Thank you so much for your kind words! I think I can speak for most of us here when I say that the support from all the other greeks on these boards has been absolutely amazing. I know it has gone a long way in helping me personally remember why I joined the Greek system. Thank you so very much!
