A Little Respect, Please
 

Phi Sigs,

I understand there is controversy over the Penn chapter closing. And I understand that it is America, and everyone can express their opinion, etc. etc.

However, just as I am disgusted to hear girls on my own campus bad-mouthing thier sororities, I am equally disgusted at the reaction from some of you, my own sisters.

This is dirty laundry. Lets keep it to ourselves. I think its great, those of you who spoke up on behalf of Phi Sig. And for those of you who are unhappy, fine, be unhappy, but DONT DO IT IN PUBLIC!! It is DISRESPECTFUL to your sisters and completely inappropriate. Lets start a chat room, somewhere PRIVATE. Do you realize there is a girl going through rush RIGHT NOW who could be a potential phi sig? don't you care how we are represented to the other sororities and fraternities here?

One of you in particular, and I think you know who you are - you talked about how Phi Sig has a bad national reputation. You bad mouthed your sisters on other campuses based on "what you've heard". I hold you PERSONALLY responsible for perpetuating that negative stereotype by posting it on these boards. PLEASE control yourself in the future and respect your sisters.

If you have something bad to say, say it in private. Please.

I agree with PhiSig4eva .... there is NO reason to perpetuate this negative stereotype and get EVERYONE down ESPECIALLY with the Said rush thread going on (WPI Sweetie.. (which I'm almost 90% sure the chapter she wants to join is Phi Sig) There is NO reason to post these disgruntled comments in a public board... voice them who can do something to CHANGE THEM !!!
