Ladies! you´ll never guess what i just found the other day while walking around Salamanca?! ok maybe you will, but its a QUATREFOIL FOUNTAIN!
I´m going to take another photo of it in the day light and hopefully post it when i get back! Think i should send it to the Algaia if it turns out nice?

Wow, that's awesome! The quatrefoil seems to be a pretty common symbol in European art. When I was studying abroad in France and travelling in Italy, I saw several things with quatrefoils. At one church in Florence, Italy I saw in the facade a quatrefoil with a lion's head. I saw another church where the artist designed the entire door with quatrefoils. I tried to take pictures of all the quatrefoils I saw. I bet if you look around some more, you'll find more quatrefoils.

I hope you're having a great time in Spain. Study abroad is definatly the experience of a lifetime.

Hey! Does anyone know who's currently in charge of abroad Phi Mus? I'm applying to grad school in Switzerland, and I was wondering if there are any sisters over there.

And yeah, quatrefoils are ALL OVER Europe. When I was studying in Germany, they told us that they symbolize the four gospels. So yeah, you're going to find them all over churches n stuf in Europe. :D

i think the Magic Carpet director is Leona Hughes Hughes (an alum of my chapter), but i'm not postive.
