I DAed from my sorority last spring(AXO) because I made the wrong choice in houses and got initiated very quickly. I tried to make myself like it, but it just wasn't what I wanted. I really want to join another house~but I don't think I can...are there any loopholes or anything? I know I would be so happy in this other house! Please help! (PS I think all sororities are under panhellenic)

Unless the other house is a local or a non-NPC, yes, you're completely screwed.

What do you mean you were initiated very quickly? How long was your pledge period?

If you were formally initiated, you cannot join another NPC group, ever. Sorry.

I'm sorry you had that experience! What school do you go to, if you don't mind me asking? I know on my campus, Alpha Chi is the last sorority to initiate our new members, for this exact reason. It does suck. I'm sorry.
