Best Running Back of All Time

To branch off the best QB thread, I want to know who YOU think is the best Running back ever, especially with Emmitt Smith breaking Walter Payton's record.

A lot of people say that while Emmitt deserves the record, he may not be considered one of the greatest RBs ever. So, to me, this is my list:

1) Jim Brown
2) Walter Payton
3)Barry Sanders
4) Eric Dickerson
5) OJ
6) Emmitt
7) Marshall Faulk (Yeah it's kinda early, but cmon, he already is unstoppable, and he's an SDSU alum :) )

Barry Sanders was (IMO) the best RB ever - he did more with the ball than anyone else. He made something out of nothing regularly, and decimated defenses by himself.

Sweetness is the close second - Jim Brown might have been the best athlete to ever play sports, and he was nasty too, but I think Sanders and Payton did more to be considered a great RB so I'll put him third.

This is pretty much the definitive list, with maybe the addition of Earl Campbell (I reviewed the lists with a friend). My personal favorites: "Sweetness" and my fraternity brother, "Emmitt." "I" would probably leave off Faulk at this point, but most would at least have him on the list of potentials...
