I know LOTS of people who have never even seen the ocean.

I'd love to be doing that now.

I've never surfed before, but living 20 minutes away from the beach, I've always wanted to learn. :D

same here. as soon as i moved to san diego i wanted to learn. i am in my 4th semester here and i still have never tried. maybe this summer when i'm not in school i will make someone teach me.

Beach? What's a beach? We just have the stinky, polluted, dead-body-filled Ohio River..

aww, that sucks TKE209Sweethrt ... the beach is SO much fun. i dn't have the huge waves like the west coasters, but even teh east coast beach is fun :)

I do have a super cute neighbor who surfs. I've been thinking about asking him to show me how. :D

Longboard, shortboard, bodyboard...I do em all, but longboarding's my favorite.

Sunset was 15-20 feet 3 times this week. Sadly, I was stuck in the office...BOO....

Winter's always my favorite time of the year because of the famous winter swells. I've never surfed anything bigger than 8, but it's always nice to watch the experts safely from the shore. We normally don't get anything bigger than 6-8 in town, so a drive out to the "country" is necessary to see the big ones.

Having paradise as my backyard is kinda cool. :D

I usually use shortboard or bodyboard. PReferred to go during the winter down here, which is your summer. Going to try to head to Bali during the typhoon season. Insane wave man. Prob. next year though/ :(

Yes, hopefully I will some day before I die. I am also psyched that I going to ski/snowboard for the first time when I go to Denver in a few months. :)
