Our Greek System is growing!
Here's some news from our NTDaily.. I have never heard of the fraternity that will be colonizing, but I think it's great the Greek system is expanding. Currently I think there are 10 or 11 IFC fraternities and 6 NPC sororities.. hopefully NPC will decide for expansion soon! I think any kind of expansion is great, so people can find their "homes"

I had no idea UNT was that large. I thought it was a smaller univeristy. My ex went there and was a part of the Texas Academy of Math and Science (TAMS) program. Oops, guess I was wrong!
I hope the expansion goes well. :) |
Does national ATO have that much of an emphasis on Christianity or is it just this particular chapter? My friend's little bro was an ATO at W&J and I have a difficult time picturing him getting anywhere near a religious retreat. :p

SATX*APhi: yep.. lots of people think it's a small school. while we only have 30,000 students, it is a big commuter campus, so maybe that's why some people think it's small?
Not sure about all of ATO putting emphasis on Christianity, their website is at http://www.ato.org/ Are they a member of the IFC? |
ATO is a member of IFC. i had no idea they had such a spiritual emphasis, tho! they used to have a chapter on my campus, but they were the umm, not spiritual as much as they were drug dealers. of course, not all of the brothers were, but they did have the reputation (both on campus and in town) of being a place to buy drugs.

That's probably just at that particular chapter. Their chapter here at the University of Central Oklahoma is DEFINITELY not Christian based. Not knocking them.. but it just isn't:D
My little brother (sibling) is an ATO here and has never done anything church related with his chapter. The only thing I can think of is that their badge looks like a cross. |
