What does the term "GDI" mean?

GDI stands for GodDamn Independent

it is a term for people who are not in a greek organization (also just referred to as "independents".

some people get offended at the term because it implies that greeks are dependent on each other, but i don't think there's anything wrong with it. actually, many of my independent friends told people that they were in the Gamma Delta Iota sorority (GDI) as a joke...
