Alcohol 101
 

I read an article (I believe on U-Wire) about the highly touted “Alcohol 101” CD-ROM that a lot of Greek organizations are using. It said that it’s basically a joke, to see how “virtually drunk” you can get.

Has anyone out there seen or used it in their chapter?

I had to use that when I was a frosh for some useless Freshman Skills class. But for Fraters playing it, I really doubt it.

I'm a Phi Delt at the U of South Dakota. We've used the alcohol 101 CD Rom before. All Sororoities on our campus are now required to use it...and out national fraternity is now also. It's fairly stupid and frankly I think that we are adults and have heard time and time again what alcohol can do.

On my campus it is used as a disciplinary tool by residence life (not in anyway connected to greek life) to punish underage drinkers. Just a big pain in the butt if you ask me.
