Change the title?
 

Seeing as this board combines the posts from the "Hazing" topic and "Risk Mgt." topic, wouldn't it make more sense to call this board "Risk Mgt." since hazing prevention is a responsible part of risk mgt. (in addition to alcohol awareness, date rape awareness, eating disorder prevention, etc.)

I agree. Hazing is more of a subset of Risk Managment.

I think you're right. But my guess is that the reason they stuck with Hazing is because it is such a popular topic. Everyone has an opinion about it. Risk management, on the other hand, tends to get a lot of eye-rolling. If I remember correctly, there wasn't a whole lot of discussion in the Risk Management section previously.

Risk Management would probably be the more appropriate title but that forum had very little interest when compared to the Hazing forum. Risk Management had 3 or 4 posts over a period of several months while Hazing had 130+. This is why I stayed with Hazing as the title.

Your opinions are very important, so - I will likely change the title of this forum to Risk Management during the next update. I'll be sure to feature hazing as one of the topics in the forum description since this is such a popular discussion topic. Along with hazing I'll also add Barb's suggestions into the forum description: alcohol awareness, date rape awareness & eating disorder prevention.

Does anyone know of other topics that should be covered under the Risk Management heading?

The imfamous "liablity" another broad Risk Managment topic. That takes you towards the more legal aspects of insurance, fire codes, house safety, etc...
