Need help with AOL IM
Okay I am not stupid but sometimes when it comes to computer details I am not a rocket scientist...
Under "edit options", then "edit preferences", then "mail" there is an option for "e-mail addresses to check". How the hell do I set this up? Type: POP3 Mail is the only option E-mail Address: I think I can figure this one out ;) Password: I think I can figure this one out also ;) POP3 Server Name: what the hell does this mean? POP3 E-mail Program: what the hell does this mean? Thanks :) |
I have no idea. :D
I would also like to know if anybody out there knows how to set it up. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. :D |
Is this for AOL or for an excite mailbox?
I have all my excite mail forwarded to my AOL box and it was pretty simple, but as far as AOL being forwarded to something else I don't know..... |
I'll bite. :)

pop.yourisp.com mail.yourisp.com etc. If you don't know these settings, chances are that your ISP's homepage will have them listed under their support section. Quote:
Buena suerte. :) |
I also dont have a clue what you arre talking about!
If I get something from someone, I can forward it to the persons that I have e-m address for no matter what the server is as long as I have the mail address. Or, I can type in the e-m address if not in my book. With the 200 e-m I have for my chapter, many different, I can forward to all of them by bringing up my address book and inserting them in send to or copy to and push forward icon. Is that what you are talking about? |
