Thank you to everyone who showed concern for me since the summer. I have had many family/financial problems and asked nationals for Alumnae status... today I was told that it was granted! That took a HUGE weight off of my shoulders. Granted I will miss being active so incredibly much, but... at the moment - this is whats is best for me!

I'm glad that CO granted you the Alumnae status. I hope things look up for you and remember it's Once a Phi Sig, Always a Phi Sig. Not sure how much time you'll have now but down the road there's always the Alum chapters and Advisory Board positions with Chapters as well.

I'm so glad that you finally got status! I heard this morning, when I was talking to Shawn. I need to talk to you though, about you getting the status. Another great story!

It's good to hear things worked out for you! Just remember you can still be an "active" alum and participate as much as you want !!

Im definately planning on being an active alum. I am going to talk to CO and see what I can do nationally (mwahaha, this is just the beginning of my quest to become Grand Archon!!! mwahah!) and Im going to see about sometime in the near future being an advisor for a chapter close to here.

BUT, with my chapter - we have another sister who is alum because she left school for a semester, she is back, but was unable to be active this semester due to time. She comes around to things a lot and people say things like "You are doing too much, youre alum, not active" and I can see them saying that about me.
